Goddess Night: Dea, Cult of Hope, Cruel Children, Alison Leaf
December 17 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Within every woman, there is a powerful goddess waiting to be unleashed. Join us for a night of music and poetry with female artists who tap into their inner goddesses to create powerful, raw, charged, uninhibited songs.
This night of untamed craft will take place at United Kava, the kava pop-up bar inside of Caffeine Underground. Come at the pop-up’s start at 8pm for a bowl of kava or a CBD concoction and some introspective conversation.
$5 suggested donation (no one will be turned away for lack of funds)
Kava, CBD drinks and herbal elixirs will be served until 2 am
** Dressing as your favorite goddess / god / mystical creature (or a unique divine form of your own!) is encouraged, but if human garb is more your jam, that’s cool too.
United Kava is a pop-up kava bar that resides at Caffeine Underground every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night from 8pm – 2am. It is a joint venture seeking to establish a practical model for equitable workers’ rights within the service industry. Here, workers can bargain over their wages, scheduling, and code of conduct. Patrons can know workers are operating free of fear and are empowered to address their workspace.
Kava has the power to bridge the divide between humans and bring people together. We are fostering an environment that is a sanctuary for workers and patrons alike.
